Dear Fellow Electrologists,
Regional Electrologists Association of Louisiana (REAL) began in January
2000 with much enthusiasm. The success of the organization has far
exceeded anyone.s expectations. Our symposiums have been fun and
knowledgeable plus they have been highly attended on this one day out of
365. Common interests among colleagues and friends REALly make it
work.
We are pleased to announce two new officers nominated by REAL who are now
serving on the Louisiana State Board of Electrolysis Examiners (LSBEE).
Governor Bobby Jindal appointed Tonya Freeman and John Houeye to serve on
the Board. We want to extend our congratulations to these REAL members
for their willingness and ability to generously serve the Board. We must
also give recognition to former Board members Cheri Miller and Linda
Ritchie for their many years of commitment and determination to maintain
high standards for the electrolysis profession.
Many of us have suffered through a lot, such as the September 11, 2001
(9/11) attacks and hurricanes which shook our world and changed us all.
As a result, we are a stronger family and Nation. Let.s continue the
support and growth as we move into another decade of REAL success. Thank
you all!
REALly Yours, Michael Clair President of
REAL
